The Assistive Technology and Accessibility Centers (ATAC) serves Indiana University students, faculty and staff with and without disabilities by providing access to specialized assistive technologies that help with reading, writing, studying, and information access.
Parking and Transportation
IU handicap parking permits are issued each semester by the IUE Police Department. Faculty and staff may make an application for a handicap permit through the Human Resources Office. Faculty, staff and students possessing an official state issued handicapped parking plate/placard may petition for an annual permit upon presentation of a state approved certification and completion of the required IU East application. Emergency Management and Continuity coordinates crisis/disaster operations, including emergency evacuation procedures for those who need special assistance.
